Review: Youdepot 100 Pieces Blank Dog Tags for Stamping or Engraving
As an owner of a substantial laser engraver/cutter, I’m always looking for materials or products to utilize. These Youdepot bulk dog tags caught my eye as I thought they’d be great for making laser engraved labels, among other uses.
In the small box you get the 100 stainless steel dog tags in a small bag. The metal itself is thin, making these tags easy enough to bend if you try, but under normal usage they should more or less hold up. The overall finish is smooth with beveled, rounded exterior edges.
The only major knock against these bulk dogs tags is that not only are they a bit on the thin side (which, of course, does make them easier to stamp or puncture should you want to go down that route), they also have a dull finish and noticeable scratches. For casual usage, this is obviously no problem, but if you’re looking for something shiny and higher quality, these are not it.
Overall, these bulk dog tags are a good value. They allow for easy experimentation with stamping or engraving. Despite some minor surface scratches on each dog tag, the manufacturing consistency is excellent across all 100 tags.
