Review: Lusweimi 81 inch Heavy Duty Camera Tripod

I’ve used tons of tripods over the years, but none this impressively heavy duty. Despite its 81 inch maximum height (6.75 feet tall!) and solid build, the Lusweimi 81 inch Heavy Duty Camera Tripod folds down into a height of just under 30 inches (2.5 feet) for easy storage.

In the box you get the tripod, storage bag, smartphone holder that extends from 2.3 inches to 4 inches, 3/8 inch screw adapter, 5/8 inch screw adapter, and operating instructions. It’s about as complete a package as you’ll find.

Thanks to its light weight, I was able to move the tripod around with ease. Yet even when it was fully extended, it remained remarkably stable. After trying it with an iPhone 12 Pro Max, a Nikon D5600 DLSR, and Nikon 8248 Aculon A211 binoculars (with a separate tripod adapter I purchased), I was convinced. Even though this costs more than any other tripod I’ve bought, it’s well worth the price and easily the best such product I’ve ever used.
