Gas-powered and wired leaf blowers have a lot of power, but are also noisy and can be annoying to maintain and use. If your air-blowing needs are a bit more modest, you can take advantage of something like the Voltkore 20V Cordless Leaf Blower. While it’s not without its own set of disadvantages, it can probably be an ideal solution for a lot of use cases.
In the surprisingly small box you get the leaf blower and two plastic tubes that you attach in succession to create the blowing chamber, as well as 20V battery, charger, and manual. It’s a simple package that nevertheless includes everything you’ll ever need.
We don’t maintain the lawn at our house ourselves due to time and size. However, we still like to keep the outside clean whenever possible. That’s why I liked the idea behind this rechargeable leaf blower. In use, it’s nowhere near as powerful as its gas-powered or plug-in electric brethren, but for blowing out the garage floor or clearing the driveway, it works just fine. This is definitely for lighter-duty use cases, but then I suspect most have such modest needs.
Much like today’s interchangeable batteries for drills, vacuums, and other tools, the battery is easy to remove and place on the charger. You can get about 25 minutes of usage between charges, but that time will vary depending upon how much you use the higher of its two power settings. It’s lightweight at around 3lbs and easy to manipulate, which again, is a big plus over other blowers, especially gas-powered ones. Just about anyone can manage this tool.
Overall, there’s a lot to like about this battery-powered leaf blower. It’s compact, lightweight, and does a good job on all but the most heavy-duty blowing tasks.
