Although the ToyleFun Defender Intelligent Spray Robot Toy has something of an unusual vibe going on with its ape face and generic human voice, there’s no denying how full-featured this large one foot plus tall remote controlled device is, particularly at its surprisingly low price point.
In the box you get the robot, 22-key remote control, arm gun and six “bullets,” arm shield, microUSB charging cable, screwdriver, manual, and water injector. The only other thing you need that’s not included besides a USB power source to charge the robot’s internal rechargeable battery is two AA batteries for the remote control.
Again, the ToyleFun robot has a ton of features. It can spray water mist when properly added using the included injector. The robot can be put into hand gesture mode and you can move it back, left, right, or forward with the respective motion of your hand. You can use the remote control to program a series of actions for the robot to repeat. From the remote, you can make the robot dance (it plays different built-in music), walk, slide, and more. Of course, it also has some passive mechanical features like movable and bendable arms, a removable arm gun that you can use to manually shoot the included projectiles, as well as LED lights.
There’s not much else to say about this robot toy. It does everything it claims and does it well. It’s a good size and well-constructed, so will definitely hold up to extended play. It’s a ton of fun for robot toy lovers of all ages.
