In total, the researchers identified 32 types of cancer with an obesity link, which is more than double the 13 types of cancer previously identified in 2016 by the International Agency for Research on Cancer. The new research will be presented at the European Congress on Obesity in Venice, Italy, confirms these cancers, which include cases in the breast, bowel, womb, and kidney, can be caused by obesity.
